VP Finance

Deanna Liu

Deanna is starting her third year in business concentrating in accounting and finance. In her free time, she enjoys playing badminton and dancing. During quarantine, she also picked up cooking and reading as her new hobbies. Deanna first heard about the club through the VP of Internal Relations, Peggy, and was inspired by the club’s vision. With the passion to empower other people, Deanna is excited to be a part of SFU LYFE and to create positive impacts on the student community.

Social Media Coordinator

Alan Lam

Alan is a second-year business student with an interest in tech and media production. He looks forward to meeting new friends virtually and gaining professional experience in social media management through his involvement in SFU LYFE. Outside of class time, he enjoys listening to musicals, playing badminton, and exploring the local area!

Nicole David

Nicole is a second-year business student planning to concentrate in entrepreneurship and innovation. One of her favourite hobbies is thrift-shopping and re-designing clothes especially since it’s eco-friendly! Nicole joined because she was inspired by SFU LYFE’s vision to empower students to achieve their ambitions and attain personal growth!

Ashley Phay

Ashley is a Fourth Year Student currently studying Sociology and Anthropology with an intended minor in Labour Studies. She has a passion for social justice and wants to work hard in making the world a better place even if it is through small acts of kindness. Fun fact about her: She has memorized all the words to the musical Hamilton. Thank you for onboarding her to this team and she promises she won’t throw away her shot!

Fiona Wong

Fiona is a fourth-year English student minoring in Business Administration. She is passionate about helping out many SFU clubs and organizations offered in SFSS. She is part of the SFSS Events committee as well as an executive in SFU Anime and SFU Tea. You can often find Fiona in Discord talking about her hobbies and giving advice to students. She is excited to be part of SFU LYFE as a Project Coordinator!

Events Coordinator

Ryan Nekounam

Ryan is a business student concentrating in MIS and Operations Management. His hobbies are mainly Reddit, reading, and gaming. He is an enthusiast in tech, politics, philosophy, fantasy books, D&D, movies, poker, hockey, history, investing, and economics. He joined SFU LYFE as an event coordinator to expand his network and gain leadership experience. He believes he can bring new and fun ideas that can make the LYFE experience more impactful for its members.

Prabhnoor Kaur

Noor is in her second year and wants to pursue a joint major in business and economics. She likes to meet new people and is thrilled to be a part of SFU LYFE to help students build connections and feel more empowered. In her spare time, she likes to dance, watch Netflix or go on long drives. She believes in spreading optimism and sending positive vibes into the universe.

Lubaba is a third-year student double-majoring in Economics and International Studies. She enjoys travelling, reading books, and painting. She’s also volunteering with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the International Studies Student Association, and the Simon Fraser Public Interest Research Group.
