Struggling to Get to Bed? Try Bringing the Bathroom to the Bedroom.

It’s 10:30 pm. I should get ready for bed. I really should, but I’m sitting at my desk and I’m too lazy to get up and go to the washroom. *quite some time later* Omg it’s midnight how did this happen??

If you can relate, this post is for you.

  • The Problem: too lazy to get up and go to the washroom.
  • The Solution: bring your bathroom to your bedroom.

Example: Me

  • The Problem: too lazy to go get floss, brush, & toothpaste from the washroom.
  • The Solution: put floss, brush, & toothpaste in my room on my desk (in a small container.
  • Why it works: 1) It makes flossing and brushing easy. My floss and brush are within arm’s reach. 2) Not out of sight, not out of mind. Being able to see my floss and brush in my field of view is a visual cue/reminder that I should floss and brush.

If you’re a lazy llama (like me) and going to bed is easy after you’ve flossed and brushed, I highly recommend trying this.
